- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- Salt and pepper to taste

Method
The method to make Malaysian Rice Noodles is as follows:- Soak the rice noodles in water for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the wok or large frying pan over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrots, red and green bell peppers, and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are cooked but still crunchy.
- Add the soaked rice noodles and mix well with the vegetables.
- Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and curry powder and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the noodles are cooked and well combined with the other ingredients.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
To make this dish vegetarian, omit the fish sauce and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. You can also add other vegetables such as mushrooms, snow peas, or baby corn.Nutrition Info
