- 500g King Prawns
- 1 cup of Basmati Rice
- 1 Onion
- 1 Red Pepper
- 1 Green Pepper
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 1 inch of Ginger
- 1 tsp of Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp of Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp of Sesame Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste

- A large frying pan or wok
- A saucepan
- A chopping board
- A sharp knife
- A wooden spoon or spatula
Method
- Start by cooking the rice according to the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, set aside and keep warm.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the sliced peppers to the pan and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the king prawns to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are pink and cooked through.
- Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sesame oil to the pan and stir-fry for a further 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the prawn stir-fry on top of the cooked rice.
- Garnish with chopped coriander or spring onions if desired.
