- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
- Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.

- When the rice is done, remove it from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork.
- Top the rice with the chicken, raisins, almonds, and chopped parsley. Serve hot.
