Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweet rice flour, honey, water, vegetable oil, and salt. Mix well until the dough comes together.
- Dust a clean work surface with sweet rice flour and knead the dough for about 3-5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into 1-inch balls.
- Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press them down slightly with your hand.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the sweet rice balls become slightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.
- In a saucepan, heat up some honey until it becomes thin and runny.
- Dip the sweet rice balls into the honey and place them back onto the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the sweet rice balls (optional).
- Let them cool and serve.
