Method
- Rinse the jade pearl rice in cold water and drain.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and a pinch of salt, cover, and reduce heat to low.

- In a medium-sized skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for 2 minutes or until softened.

- Pour the sauce over the rice and vegetables, and stir to combine.

- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve.
