Method
- Wash and soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes.

- Add the lamb meat and fry until it turns brown on all sides.
- Add all the spices and fry for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the soaked rice to the pot and stir well to coat it with the spices.
- Add the water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid.
- Simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the water has evaporated.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pot, boil 1 cup of water and add the saffron threads. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Once the rice is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and pour the saffron water over the rice. Cover the pot and let it rest for 5 minutes.
