Method

Saute for 5 minutes. - Add 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 cloves, and 1 cardamom. Mix well. - Add the soaked rice and 2 cups of water. Add salt as per taste. - Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked. - Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
2. Karuppu Kavuni Rice Kheer
- Wash and soak 1 cup of Karuppu Kavuni Rice for 30 minutes. - Cook the rice in 2 cups of water until it is soft and fluffy. - Blend 1 cup of coconut milk and 1/2 cup of water in a blender. - Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and add the cooked rice. - Add the blended coconut milk and 1/2 cup of water. - Add 1/2 cup of sugar and mix well. - Cook for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens. - Add 1 tsp lemon juice and mix well. - Serve hot or cold.
