Method
- Wash the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
- Marinate the meat with ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper powder, red chili powder, and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.
- In a large pot, heat the oil and add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom pods, black cardamom pods, and bay leaf. Fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add the diced onions and fry until they are golden brown.

- Add the diced tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until they are soft.
- Add water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil.
- Add the soaked rice and stir gently.

- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
