Method

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. 4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. 5. Add the can of diced tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. 6. While the meatballs are simmering, rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer and add it to a medium saucepan with 2 cups of chicken broth.
